Rack infrastructure specified for load, security, and cable volume

Australian designed & manufactured · SCEC Class B & C · EIA-310 compliant

Commodity imports ship generic frames. Argent builds rack systems to carry high-density IT loads, route large cable volumes without blocking airflow, and meet physical security requirements—without rework at install.

Class B & C secure racks

Built for environments where rack failure is not an option

Argent rack systems support mission-critical IT and communications infrastructure in:

  • Data centres & comms rooms — high-density server, storage, and network deployments
  • Government & defence-adjacent sites — SCEC-rated physical security where required
  • Transport & utilities — control rooms and trackside communications (e.g. Sydney Trains deployments)
  • Healthcare & enterprise — secure, serviceable enclosures for long operational life

Every cabinet is designed, fabricated, assembled, and finished in Australia—so project teams get local engineering support, supply certainty, and custom dimensions without offshore lead times.

System Architecture

Six engineering decisions that define Argent

Each pillar addresses a specific failure mode in commodity rack installs—not interchangeable marketing lines.

H-Frame structure

4×4 post architecture with H-frame rigidity transfers vertical load to the floor and maintains rail alignment under heavy kit—reducing flex that misaligns 19-inch mounting.

Cable path architecture

Square-pattern cable ladder, scalable brush strips, and front-to-rear patching routes large fibre and power runs without crushing bundles or blocking intake airflow.

1000 kg static load

Structure rated for dense UPS, storage, and compute stacks—supplied fully assembled to EIA-310 so standard 19-inch equipment mounts without field reinforcement.

SCEC secure enclosures

Class B and Class C server racks with controlled cable entry and enhanced locking for government departments, defence sites, and secure data rooms.

Installer-first access

Tool-less removable doors, lockable side panels, and three-point locking reduce time on ladder and simplify maintenance without compromising enclosure integrity.

Project custom engineering

Non-standard depth, height, colour, and security configurations engineered to facility drawings—local fabrication avoids one-size-fits-all compromises.

Modular. Scalable. Interchangeable.
Engineering Process

From specification to rack-ready delivery

A controlled engineering workflow—not catalogue pick-and-ship.

01

Specify

Define load, depth, security class, cable entry, and airflow requirements against the facility layout.

02

Engineer

H-frame layout, access panels, and integration points modelled for the equipment stack and install sequence.

03

Manufacture

Laser cutting, CNC folding, welding, and powder coating in Australia—quality held through fabrication and assembly.

04

Deploy

Fully assembled cabinets delivered ready for rack-mount install—reducing site labour and unplanned modifications.

Physical security for controlled environments

Where policy requires evaluated enclosures, Argent manufactures SCEC Class B and Class C secure server racks.

What that means on site:

  • Enhanced enclosure security beyond standard comms cabinets
  • Specialised locking and controlled cable entry to limit unauthorised access
  • Configurations aligned to government, defence, and secure data centre specifications

Specify the security class early in design—Argent engineers the rack to the physical security requirement, not as an aftermarket add-on.
